Installing the desktop app
The desktop app is required to record sessions with your patients.
System requirements
Installation
Download the installer
Click the download button above. You will get a .exe file.
Run the installer
Double-click the downloaded .exe file to start the installation.
Windows may show a security warning
Windows might display a "Windows protected your PC" message. This is normal for new applications. Click "More info", then "Run anyway" to proceed.
Launch Delta
Find Delta in your Start menu and launch it. Sign in with your account.
Download the installer
Click the download button above. You will get a .dmg file.
Open the .dmg file
Double-click the downloaded .dmg file. A window will open showing the Delta app.
Drag to Applications
Drag the Delta icon into your Applications folder.
First launch on macOS
On the first launch, macOS may show a warning because the app is from outside the App Store. Right-click the app in Applications, select "Open", then click "Open" again in the dialog. You only need to do this once.
Launch Delta
Open Delta from your Applications folder and sign in with your account.
Frequently asked questions
Windows SmartScreen warns about apps that are not yet widely downloaded. This is normal for new software. The app is safe to install — just click "More info" then "Run anyway".
macOS Gatekeeper blocks apps from outside the App Store by default. Right-click the app in your Applications folder, select "Open", then click "Open" in the confirmation dialog. This only needs to be done once.
Delta updates automatically. When a new version is available, the app will download and install it in the background. You just need to restart the app when prompted.
Try restarting your computer, then open the app again. If the problem persists, try downloading and reinstalling the latest version. Contact us if you still need help.
