Recording vs. Copilot mode

Two modes for your sessions

Delta offers two recording modes, each suited to different needs:

Recording mode

In recording mode, Delta captures audio throughout your session and generates structured notes once the session ends. This is the simplest option — no real-time processing, just reliable transcription.

• Audio is recorded locally on your computer.
• Notes are generated after you stop the session.
• Uses recording credits.

Copilot mode

Copilot mode does everything recording mode does, plus it provides real-time suggestions during the session — questions to ask, techniques to try, and observations about the conversation.

• Includes all recording features.
• Real-time AI suggestions appear in the floating window.
• Uses copilot credits (separate from recording credits).
