Microphone not detected
Check system permissions
The most common cause is that your browser or the Delta app doesn't have microphone permission:
- macOS: Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone, and make sure Delta is enabled.
- Windows: Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone, and ensure Delta has access.
Select the correct input device
- Open your system sound settings.
- Make sure the correct microphone is selected as the default input device.
- Test it by speaking — you should see the input level meter respond.
Restart the app
If the problem persists, try closing the Delta app completely and reopening it. This refreshes the audio device list.
Still not working?: Try unplugging and reconnecting your external microphone, or restarting your computer.
