Mon soutien psy in 2026: what is changing for psychologists

Mon soutien psy in 2026: 12 sessions, €50 per session, direct access, third-party payment. What is changing for psychologists and how to become contracted. Guide to download.

Countries covered : France

The "Mon soutien psy" scheme has evolved significantly in 2026: more sessions, better paid, direct access, with third-party payment. For a private practice psychologist, the question is no longer marginal.

This page reviews the scheme, its new features, and the decision to become contracted, with a guide to download.

What is changing in 2026

The Assurance Maladie reimburses 60% of the rate, with the remainder covered by the supplementary health insurance (mutuelle) or the patient. The details of the reimbursement calculation for the patient (breakdown between Assurance Maladie / complementary insurance, out-of-pocket costs, mutuelles, CMP) are covered in our article Reimbursement for a psychologist session: Mon soutien psy and mutuelles.

To become contracted, or not?

Participating in the scheme requires signing an agreement with the Assurance Maladie. It is a practice choice:

  • Pros: a flow of patients, a clear framework, a rate closer to standard practices, third-party payment.
  • To consider: compliance with the terms (number of sessions, regulated rates, administrative steps), which is in addition to your standard independent practice.

The scheme is attractive: several thousand psychologists have already joined, and new agreements are signed every month.

The impact on your written records

Direct access and multi-session follow-ups reinforce the usefulness of proper traceability: concise session notes, and if necessary, a factual certificate of attendance (without medical diagnosis, in compliance with professional confidentiality, art. 226-13). Reminder: psychologists are not required to produce a report, but clear written records secure the follow-up.

More sessions mean more written records. Start with a fixed template, standardise your phrasing, and dictate your notes right after the session.

This is what Delta does: you capture your observations through live note-taking or post-session dictation, and the tool generates structured records based on your template, with longitudinal patient memory from one session to the next. Health Data Hosting (HDS), GDPR compliant: your records remain confidential and belong to you.
