Best AI report software for physiotherapists in 2026

Delta, Markus Santé, Kadu, KinéFlow and Mon Assistant Kiné compared from their websites: what each tool does, its price, HDS hosting and billing.

Countries covered : Belgium, Switzerland, France

AI report software for physiotherapists is a tool that turns what you dictate, or what is said during a session, into a diagnostic physiotherapy assessment (BDK in France), a session note or a letter, which you review before using it.

This page compares the tools of this kind that a self-employed physiotherapist can use in France in 2026. It is published by Delta, which is one of the tools compared. Information about the other tools comes from their official website or app listing, checked on 15 October 2026.

How we chose

We included a tool if it meets four conditions.

  • It targets self-employed physiotherapists.
  • It works in French.
  • You can sign up in France today.
  • Its main purpose is AI-assisted writing, such as assessments, session notes or letters.

For each tool, we read the home page, the pricing page and the security page where there is one. When a piece of information is not on the website, we say so.

Practice management software, which handles the diary, billing and electronic claims, is not compared here. Our guide to physiotherapy software covers it.

The comparison at a glance

  • Delta. Notes for every session, live or by dictation, assessments and letters, and an up-to-date patient record. €29 a month incl. VAT, billed annually.
  • Markus Santé. A broader assistant with a diary, assessments, letters and exercise programmes. Transcription of consultations is in the €58.80 a month plan incl. VAT.
  • Kadu. BDK drafted from your dictation, session reports, a diary and home visit rounds. €29.90 a month.
  • KinéFlow. Focused on the BDK, dictated after the session or captured during it. From €9.99 to €49.99 a month.
  • Mon Assistant Kiné. Physiotherapy assessment, exercise programme via WhatsApp and video calls. €19 a month as a launch offer.

All five state HDS-certified hosting in France. All five also offer transcription during the session, which Markus Santé only includes in the Sync plan. None mentions electronic claims. Kadu and Delta state that they do not do coding or billing.

The tools, one by one

Delta

Who it is for. Physiotherapists and other allied health and mental health professionals. Delta takes the profession into account in what it writes.

How it works. During the session, Delta transcribes what is said. Or, after the session, you dictate your observations. Delta then generates the report, with a short summary, a detailed summary and topics for the next session. It updates the patient record, so you find the whole follow-up and its progress in one place. It also drafts assessments, letters and certificates. It works in the browser, with a Mac and Windows app recommended for sessions.

Data. Data is hosted in France with an HDS-certified host, and AI processing takes place in France. The patient's name is pseudonymised before the AI. No audio file is kept. Data is never used to train a model.

Price. €29 a month incl. VAT on an annual plan, that is €348 a year, or €35 a month incl. VAT on a monthly plan. The trial lasts 14 days, with no card required. A free plan limited to 10 sessions a month is also available.

Limits. Delta does not do NGAP coding, billing, electronic claims or a diary. It therefore works alongside your practice software. It has no built-in standardised tests and does not create video exercise programmes.

Markus Santé

Who it is for. Self-employed health professionals, with a page for physiotherapists. Markus is a brand of BraimIA SAS. Its press page mentions a partnership with the FFMKR physiotherapy federation in 2026. Its website shows more than 2,700 assessments written in the last 30 days.

How it works. According to its physiotherapy page, you describe your assessment out loud during the consultation, and Markus transcribes and structures it. It drafts the BDK, the note for the prescriber and the report in your own template, then you review and approve. In the Sync plan, it sends the patient their self-rehabilitation programme, with instructions and videos. It offers a diary with online booking and recalls the patient's progress. Documents export to Word or PDF.

Data. According to its security page, data is hosted in France with an HDS-certified host. Markus says it automatically anonymises personal data before processing and never uses data to train its models. Where AI processing takes place is not stated. Its transcription page shows the audio stored in the patient's file, with no retention period stated.

Price. Markus Agenda costs €18 a month incl. VAT. Markus IA costs €28.80 a month incl. VAT and drafts assessments and reports, without transcription. Markus Sync costs €58.80 a month incl. VAT and includes transcription. The trial lasts 14 days, with no card required.

Billing. Billing for treatments and electronic claims are not mentioned on its website.

Limits. Transcription is only in the most expensive plan.

Kadu

Who it is for. Self-employed physiotherapists. Other professions are in a pilot programme. According to its website, the project started in early 2026. The number of users is not stated, and we did not find the name of the publishing company on the pages we read.

How it works. You dictate your examination in segments, on a computer or a phone. Kadu drafts a BDK, initial or follow-up, in the physiotherapy template, and flags points to check. With the patient's consent, Live mode transcribes the session and prepares a summary of measurements, techniques and the next appointment. Kadu also offers SOAP session reports, charts of pain scores and measurements, a letter to the doctor, a diary and home visit rounds. It is a web app.

Data. The patient record is hosted in France by Scalingo, which is HDS-certified. The AI runs on Microsoft Azure in the European Union, with transcription in France and drafting in Sweden. Audio is not kept. According to Kadu, requests are not used to train Microsoft's models. Pseudonymisation before the AI is not described.

Price. €29.90 a month with no commitment, or an annual plan with two months free. The website does not say whether prices include VAT. Each month includes 40 AI assessments, 200 AI credits and 5 hours of Live mode. The trial lasts 14 days, with no card required.

Billing. No. Kadu states that it does not do coding, electronic claims or billing.

Limits. A monthly quota of assessments and credits applies. The tool is recent and its adoption is not stated.

KinéFlow

Who it is for. Self-employed physiotherapists. According to its Google Play listing, KinéFlow was created by a physiotherapist. Its website states more than 660 self-employed physiotherapists signed up. Another website, kineflow.online, with no established link, offers exercise programmes under the same name.

How it works. KinéFlow focuses on the BDK. It offers two modes, quick dictation after the session or a full session captured during treatment, up to 45 minutes. The assessment includes history, examination, diagnosis, goals, a care plan and a PDF for the prescriber. It is available on iOS, Android and the web. Notes for each session are not described.

Data. Its Google Play listing states HDS-certified hosting in France, with Scalingo, Outscale and Azure France Central. Audio files are deleted by a daily purge once the assessment is produced. Pseudonymisation before the AI is not stated.

Price. Essentiel at €9.99 a month for 30 assessments, Praticien at €29.99 for 100 assessments and 10 hours of Live mode, Expert at €49.99 for unlimited assessments. Fifteen assessments are free at sign-up, with no card required. Whether prices include VAT is not stated.

Billing. Not stated on its website. Its website mentions compatibility with Vega, Kiné+4000 and Doctolib.

Limits. The tool focuses on the assessment. We could only read part of its website, so our information comes mainly from its app listings.

Mon Assistant Kiné

Who it is for. Self-employed physiotherapists. The tool is published by Mon Assistant Kiné SAS. The number of users is not stated.

How it works. You start the transcription at the beginning of the consultation, then the tool drafts the physiotherapy assessment, which you review and approve. It also offers an exercise programme sent on WhatsApp, secure video calls and letters. It works in the browser.

Data. The website states hosting in France with an HDS-certified host. Its legal notice names Clever Cloud for the server. Audio retention and pseudonymisation are not stated.

Price. The Pionnier offer costs €19 a month or €199 a year, with the price guaranteed for the first 100 sign-ups. The website does not say whether prices include VAT, and the standard price is not stated. The trial lasts 14 days and requires a card.

Billing. Not stated on its website.

Limits. The price after the launch offer is not stated.

Tools we left out

  • Milo. This is practice management software for physiotherapists, with a diary, billing and SESAM-Vitale electronic claims. Its website mentions voice input for the care record, but does not describe AI report drafting.
  • Kinory. It offers AI assessments and session notes for physiotherapists, with a Pro plan at €29 a month. Its website states GDPR compliance. We did not include it because HDS-certified hosting and the publisher's name are not stated on its website at the time we checked.
  • Physitrack. It offers an AI scribe, but its website says these features are adapted to the US market. France is not in its pricing table.
  • ChatGPT and general AI tools. These are not designed for your patients' health data. Our article on AI in physiotherapy explains the precautions to take.

How to choose for your situation

  • The BDK is your main workload. KinéFlow and Kadu focus on the assessment and its template.
  • You want one tool for your diary and exercise programmes. Markus Santé covers both in its Sync plan. Mon Assistant Kiné sends programmes, and Kadu handles the diary and home visit rounds.
  • You want a note for every session and a record that tracks progress. Delta, Kadu and Markus Santé offer this. Delta is a good fit in particular if you want AI processing to take place in France.

Before you start, ask the publisher these questions.

  • Is the host HDS-certified, and where does the AI process the data?
  • Is the patient's name hidden before it is sent to the AI?
  • Is the audio kept, and for how long?
  • Does the price include VAT, and is there a monthly cap on assessments?

Then test two tools on the same patients, and compare the texts they produce.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI report software for a physiotherapist?

It depends on what takes up most of your time. For the BDK alone, KinéFlow and Kadu focus on the assessment. For a tool that adds a diary and exercise programmes, look at Markus Santé. For a note after every session and a patient record that tracks progress, look at Delta.

Do I need HDS hosting for physiotherapy assessment software?

Yes. In France, article L1111-8 of the Public Health Code requires a provider that hosts health data on behalf of a professional to be HDS-certified. The five tools we selected all state an HDS-certified host. Also ask where the AI processes the data, as this place can differ from the hosting.

Can AI software do coding and electronic claims?

None of the tools compared mentions electronic claims on its website. Kadu and Delta state that they do not do coding. You therefore keep your practice software for billing.

Do I need to tell my patient?

Yes. Tell your patient before transcribing the session and note their consent in the record. If you only dictate your observations after the session, still explain that you use a writing assistant.
