Delta vs myCR, which AI tool for your clinical reports?

Delta and myCR compared for psychologists and allied health professionals, note-taking, patient follow-up, tests, data and price, including where myCR does better.

Countries covered : Belgium, Switzerland, France

myCR is a French AI report-writing tool whose website mainly features speech therapy, where the practitioner dictates observations and the AI turns them into a structured document. Delta is the clinical assistant for mental health and allied health professionals. It takes session notes, generates the session report and keeps the patient record up to date.

We make Delta. This page compares Delta with myCR as fairly as we can, including where myCR does better. Information about myCR comes from its website and its App Store listing, checked on 9 October 2026. When something is not stated there, we say so. We do not repeat time-saving figures, since nobody outside the company can check them.

myCR in a few lines

According to its website, myCR is an AI report tool for health professionals, made in Toulouse, France. It lists seven professions, namely speech therapists, occupational therapists, orthoptists, psychomotor therapists, psychologists, sophrologists and psychopractitioners. Its App Store listing also mentions physiotherapists.

The workflow described on the site has three steps. You open or create the patient file. You dictate your observations, during or after the session, and the AI transcribes the dictation and structures it. You then review the document, sign it and export it as PDF or Word.

The site mentions assessment reports, session reports and end-of-care reports. myCR's App Store listing describes four templates (initial assessment, follow-up, session report, letter) and sending by email from the app. It also says you can paste notes instead of dictating. myCR reads standardised test results and builds score tables and profile charts from them. It does not supply the tests, which you must obtain from their publishers. The tests named on the site are mostly speech therapy tests (EVALO, ELO, Alouette-R for example). myCR's App Store listing also names the WISC-V and the M-ABC-2.

On data, the site states hosting in France on HDS-certified OVH servers, a French AI model (Mistral) with pseudonymisation, no data outside the European Union and end-to-end encryption. The site does not say what happens to the dictation audio once transcribed, or whether users' data may be used to train a model.

On price, myCR has a free plan limited to one report a month, on the web only. Credit packs follow (one credit for one report), from €1.49 incl. VAT for one credit to €34.99 incl. VAT for 50, with no expiry date. The unlimited plan costs €19.90 per month incl. VAT, with no commitment, and includes the iOS and Android apps. The site offers a 14-day trial with no card and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

On adoption, the site shows a counter of more than 1,870 reports generated. It does not state a number of users. On the App Store, the app does not yet have enough reviews to show a rating.

Is myCR a good fit for psychologists?

Psychologists are on myCR's list of professions, and its site links to a page for psychologists. We could not open that page when we checked, as it returned an error. The detailed content we could read (examples, named tests, FAQ, sample report) is about speech therapy.

On the pages we read, myCR highlights assessments built from tests and scores, and its App Store listing names the WISC-V. These pages do not mention transcribing the conversation with the patient, therapeutic approaches or a summary that updates after each session. If you are a psychologist, look at myCR's page for your profession and try it to judge for yourself.

Delta in a few lines

Delta is the clinical assistant for mental health and allied health professionals. It offers two ways to take notes. During the session, Delta transcribes what is said. After the session, you can dictate your observations instead. Either way, you can add written notes.

Delta then generates the session report, with a short summary, a detailed summary and topics for the next session. It takes your profession and approach into account (CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic, systemic). It updates the patient record with a summary of care and the goals being tracked. Delta also drafts letters, certificates and assessment reports suited to your profession.

Data is hosted in France by an HDS-certified provider, and AI processing happens in France. The patient's name and identifying details are pseudonymised before reaching the AI. No audio file is kept, as the audio is only used during the session to produce the transcript. Data is never used to train a model.

The Pro plan costs €29 per month incl. VAT billed annually (€348 a year), or €35 per month billed monthly with no commitment. A free plan covers 10 sessions a month. The trial lasts 14 days, with no card required.

What sets them apart

How notes are taken

myCR relies on dictation. You summarise the session aloud yourself, then the AI formats your dictation. Delta offers two modes on an equal footing. Either Delta transcribes what is said during the session, or you dictate afterwards. You choose patient by patient. Dictation stays useful when a patient would rather nothing be transcribed.

Following the patient over time

myCR produces documents from a patient file, and its site mentions tracking progress in patient management. It does not describe a summary that updates after each session. Delta updates the patient record after each session, with the summary of care, the goals being tracked and topics to cover next. Over months of therapy, that continuity matters.

Documents and tests

myCR is strong on score-based assessments. It reads test results, produces score tables and profile charts, and exports to Word. Delta generates a report for every session and also drafts letters, certificates and assessment reports, taking your profession and approach into account.

Data

Both tools state hosting in France with an HDS-certified provider and pseudonymisation before the AI. Delta states that no audio file is kept and that data is never used to train a model. myCR's site says nothing on these two points.

Professions

myCR's site lists seven professions, from speech therapy to psychology, and mainly features speech therapy. Delta is for mental health professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists) and allied health professionals, with reports suited to each profession.

Price

myCR is cheaper. Its unlimited plan costs €19.90 per month incl. VAT, and credits let you pay only for what you use. Delta Pro costs €29 per month incl. VAT billed annually or €35 with no commitment. On the free tier, myCR offers one report a month and Delta 10 sessions a month.

Where myCR does better

  • Price. The unlimited plan is cheaper, and pay-per-credit works well if you write few reports.
  • Mobile apps. myCR offers iOS and Android apps, included in the unlimited plan.
  • Score-based tests. Score tables and profile charts are handy for speech therapy or psychomotor assessments.
  • Word export. You can keep editing the document in your word processor.

Which one to choose?

myCR will suit you if you are a speech therapist, psychomotor therapist or occupational therapist, if your documents rest mainly on scored tests, if you like dictating a summary after the session and if price comes first. A psychologist focused on assessments can try it too, after checking that their tests are supported.

Delta will suit you if you see patients in psychotherapy and if you want notes taken during the session or by dictation depending on the patient. It also fits if your approach (CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic, systemic) should show in the report, and if you want a patient record that updates itself. The simplest option is to test both over a few sessions, since each offers a 14-day trial with no card.

Frequently asked questions

Is myCR suitable for psychologists?

Psychologists are among the seven professions myCR lists, and its site has a page for them, which we could not open when we checked. The detailed content we read is about speech therapy and test-based assessments. The best approach is to read that page and try the tool.

Can myCR transcribe a therapy session?

myCR's site describes dictating your observations, during or after the session, which the AI then transcribes and structures. The pages we read do not mention transcribing the conversation between practitioner and patient. Delta offers both, transcription during the session or dictation afterwards.

Are myCR and Delta hosted in France?

Yes, according to their sites. myCR states HDS-certified OVH servers in France and a French AI model with pseudonymisation. Delta hosts data in France with an HDS-certified provider, processes AI in France and pseudonymises the patient's name before the AI.

How much do myCR and Delta cost?

myCR offers one free report a month, credits from €1.49 to €34.99 incl. VAT and an unlimited plan at €19.90 per month incl. VAT. Delta offers a free plan of 10 sessions a month and a Pro plan at €29 per month incl. VAT billed annually, or €35 with no commitment.

Can I use Delta without transcribing the session?

Yes. After the session, you dictate your observations and Delta generates the report. You can also add written notes. You choose the mode patient by patient.

What happens to audio files?

With Delta, no audio file is kept. The audio is only used during the session to produce the transcript. myCR's site does not say what happens to the dictation audio after transcription.
