Best AI report software for speech therapists in 2026
Delta, Scielle, Ortholab, Orthonie, Logesia and more: what each AI assessment report tool does, where the data goes, what it costs and who it suits.
Countries covered : Belgium, Switzerland, France
AI report software for speech therapists is a tool that turns your observations, dictated or typed, into a clinical document ready to review: a speech therapy assessment report (CRBO in France), a session note or a letter to the doctor.
We make Delta, one of the tools on this list. We applied the same rules to everyone. The information comes from each publisher's website, checked on 10 October 2026.
How we chose
We kept tools that meet four conditions. They offer a plan for speech therapists in private practice. They work in French. You can sign up from France today. Their main job is AI-assisted writing.
Practice management software that adds an AI feature is listed separately, because it answers a different need. For each tool, we read the home page, the pricing page and, when there is one, the data security page.

The tools, one by one
Delta
Who it suits. Speech therapists who want one tool for the whole course of care, not only the assessment. The speech therapists page describes the templates.
How it works. You have two ways to take notes. During the session, Delta transcribes what is said. After the session, you dictate your observations. You can also add written notes. Delta generates the session report, with a short summary, a detailed summary and topics for the next session. It updates the patient record. It also writes assessments, letters and certificates. For speech therapy, it offers templates for oral language, written language, phonology, articulation and communication, as well as assessments, therapy reports and letters to the prescribing doctor. You can create your own templates.
Data. Data is hosted in France by an HDS-certified provider, and AI processing takes place in France. The patient's name and identifying details are pseudonymised before the AI. No audio file is kept.
Price. A free plan limited to 10 sessions per month. The Pro plan costs 29 euros per month incl. VAT billed annually (348 euros per year), or 35 euros per month incl. VAT with no commitment. 14-day trial with no credit card. See what is Delta.

Tools we did not include
- OrthoVox: according to its pricing page, it is a Windows-only application, with no Mac or web version and no voice dictation. Without dictation, it is hard to compare with the other tools on this list.
- Orthomax: practice management software (calendar, records, Sesam-Vitale billing). According to its website, it turns your voice notes into written observations and helps you write assessment reports. It belongs to a different category.
- SuperBlabla: it drafts an assessment report from your sessions and observations, with HDS hosting in France. Its price is not stated on its website, so we could not compare it.
How to choose
Ask each publisher these questions.
- Is the host HDS-certified, and where does the AI process the data?
- Which patient details are masked before they reach the AI?
- Is the price before or after VAT, and is there a monthly cap on assessments?
- Can I use my own report template?
- Does the tool calculate scores, or reuse the ones I scored?
For the document structure, use our speech therapy assessment report template and our letter to the prescribing doctor template. Our other templates are gathered in the clinical document templates.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI software for writing a speech therapy assessment report?
There is no single answer. If you mainly want to save time on the assessment from your test batteries, look at Scielle, Ortholab, Orthonie or Ortho.ia. If you also want session notes, letters and an up-to-date patient record, look at Delta, Markus Santé or Logesia.
Do I need HDS hosting for report software?
In practice, yes. In France, a publisher that hosts health data on behalf of a professional uses an HDS-certified host. Ask for the name of that host. For Ortho.ia, Logesia and OrthoAssist, we found no such mention.
Can I use ChatGPT for a speech therapy assessment report?
A general assistant is not designed for health data. Enter nothing that could identify the patient. You remain responsible for professional confidentiality and for the content of the report.
Can AI score tests?
Some tools read result PDFs or sheets and reuse the scores, according to their websites. Delta calculates no scores. Scoring and interpretation stay with you. Check every figure before signing.
Do I need to tell my patient?
It is recommended. Tell them you use a writing assistant. If the tool transcribes the session, ask for their consent before you start, or their parents' consent for a child. The patient keeps a right of access to their record.
Do you publish one of these tools and has something changed? Write to us at admin@mydelta.app and we will correct it.
