Delta or Libcab, which AI tool for your psychomotor therapy reports?

Libcab combines scheduling, invoicing, scored tests and AI. Delta takes session notes and writes reports. An honest comparison for psychomotor therapists.

Countries covered : Belgium, Switzerland, France

Delta or Libcab is a choice between two tools hosted in France that help psychomotor therapists write their reports with AI. Libcab is practice software for psychomotor therapists in private practice, with scheduling, invoicing, assessments, scored tests and AI. Delta is a clinical assistant that takes session notes, writes reports and keeps the patient record up to date.

We make Delta. We tried to write an honest comparison, including where Libcab does better. The information about Libcab comes from its website, consulted on 10 October 2026.

Libcab in a few lines

Libcab describes itself as French software for psychomotor therapists in private practice. That is its main target. Its website also mentions other allied health professionals, including speech therapists, physiotherapists and osteopaths. The publisher is a sole trader, Jérémy Leprince, based in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, according to its legal notice.

On the management side, the website describes a calendar (series, absences, waiting list), online booking, SMS and WhatsApp reminders, video consultations, invoicing (invoices, quotes, parent as payer), accounting and filing on Chorus Pro for the public sector. The website states that Libcab does not replace French national health insurance teletransmission software.

On the clinical side, Libcab offers a patient record (profile, sessions, notes and documents), six psychomotor assessment templates covering everything from prematurity to old age, and 56 tests and scales. You enter the raw data and Libcab calculates the score, the classification and the charts. For AI, the website describes follow-up reports for the school team, the doctor or the MDPH (the French disability office), a summary suggested when you finalise a session note, formatting of notes taken as you go, and a patient summary before the appointment.

The website states that data is hosted in France by Scaleway, with HDS certification, and that AI is run by Mistral AI, in France. According to its website, Libcab saves you "up to 2 hours a day", a figure that depends on your workload.

Delta in a few lines

Delta is the clinical assistant for mental health and allied health professionals. It has a page for psychomotor therapists. You choose how to take notes. During the session, Delta transcribes what is said. After the session, you dictate your observations. You can also add written notes.

Delta then generates the session report, with a short summary, a detailed summary and topics for the next session. It takes your profession into account. It updates the patient record, with a summary of the follow-up and the goals being tracked. It also drafts letters, certificates and assessments. For psychomotor therapists, it offers templates for the psychomotor assessment, the report, the individualised treatment plan, the letter to the doctor and the certificate of follow-up. You can create your own templates. To learn more, read what Delta is.

What sets them apart

Practice software or a clinical assistant

This is the main difference. Libcab aims to be the only software in your practice. It handles the calendar, bookings, reminders, invoices and accounting, as well as assessments and reports. On this point, Libcab covers much more ground than Delta.

Delta does not handle scheduling or invoicing. Your appointments and invoices stay in the tool you already use. Delta takes care of session notes, documents and the clinical record. It is also a recent tool, built by a small team.

How notes are taken

Libcab's website describes voice dictation, with an option to have it transcribed by Mistral AI rather than by the browser. It also describes formatting notes taken as you go. We did not find live transcription of the session on its website.

With Delta, you have both options. You can let Delta transcribe what is said during the session, for example during a history-taking interview with parents. You can also dictate your observations after a very body-based session where little is said. The audio is only used to produce the transcript, and no audio file is kept.

Assessments and tests

Here Libcab goes further than Delta. It includes 56 tests and scales and calculates scores from raw data. For published tests such as the M-ABC-3, the BHK or the VMI, you confirm that you hold a licence, then enter your own conversion tables from your manual. The website states that Libcab does not include the norms of any published test.

Delta does not calculate any score. Scoring, test choice and interpretation stay with you. You type or dictate your scored results, and Delta uses them as they are and formats them in the assessment report. If score calculation inside the software matters a lot to you, Libcab meets that need better. For the structure of the document, see our psychomotor assessment report template.

Patient follow-up

Both tools work from your sessions. Libcab offers a summary when you finalise a note, a patient summary before the appointment and follow-up reports. You choose a recipient (school team, doctor, MDPH) and a period. The website states that the report stays a draft until you have reviewed and finalised it.

Delta produces a report after each session and updates the patient record, with a summary of the follow-up and the goals being tracked. It also drafts letters to the doctor, certificates of follow-up and the individualised treatment plan, from templates you can adapt. Our page on clinical document templates explains how this works.

Data

Both tools state that they host data in France with HDS certification. Libcab names Scaleway as its host and Mistral AI, in France, as its only AI provider. Its website states that no patient data is sent to an American provider. A setting lets you turn off all automatic requests to the AI. We did not find information on its website about pseudonymising data before it reaches the AI.

Delta hosts data in France with an HDS-certified host, and AI processing takes place in France. The patient's name and identifying details are pseudonymised before the AI. No audio file is kept. Data is never used to train a model.

Price

According to its pricing page, Libcab Solo costs 29.90 euros per month, or 299 euros per year. The Cabinet plan, from 2 practitioners, costs 249 euros per practitioner per year, which works out at 20.75 euros per month. The page says these are final prices and that no tax is added to the amount shown. AI is included in both plans. The trial lasts 3 months, with no bank card.

Delta costs 29 euros per month incl. VAT billed annually, 348 euros per year, or 35 euros per month incl. VAT with no commitment. A free plan is limited to 10 sessions per month. The trial lasts 14 days, with no bank card. Keep in mind that Libcab also includes scheduling and invoicing. To compare fairly, add the price of your current management software to Delta.

Which tool should you choose?

Libcab suits you if you want scheduling, invoicing, assessments and scored tests in one tool, with AI that prepares report drafts. It makes sense if you are setting up a practice, or if you currently juggle several pieces of software. Its 3-month trial gives you time to judge.

Delta suits you if you already have a calendar and an invoicing tool that work for you, and your need is about writing. That is the case if you want a transcript of what is said during the session, or the freedom to dictate afterwards depending on the patient. Delta is also designed for mental health professionals. That can matter if you share a practice with psychologists.

The two can also work together. You can keep Libcab for scheduling, invoicing and score calculation, and use Delta for note-taking and writing. The simplest approach is to try each tool with a few real patients.

Is Libcab made for psychomotor therapists?

Yes. Its website presents psychomotor therapists in private practice as its main target. It offers six psychomotor assessment templates and 56 tests and scales. It also mentions other allied health professionals, such as speech therapists.

Does Libcab transcribe the session?

Its website describes voice dictation, with an option to have it transcribed by Mistral AI. We did not find live transcription of the session on its website. Delta offers both, transcription of what is said during the session or dictation afterwards.

Does Delta calculate psychomotor test scores?

No. Delta does not calculate any score. You type or dictate your scored results, and Delta uses them as they are in the assessment report. Libcab calculates scores from raw data, with your own tables for published tests.

Can I use Libcab and Delta at the same time?

Yes. Delta does not handle scheduling or invoicing. You can keep Libcab for practice management and tests, and use Delta for session notes and reports.

Are Libcab and Delta hosted in France?

Yes, according to their websites. Libcab states HDS-certified hosting with Scaleway and AI run by Mistral AI in France. Delta hosts data in France with an HDS-certified host, with AI processing in France.

How much do Libcab and Delta cost?
