Profile and settings
Update your professional profile and places of practice, choose your interface and report languages, and adjust the appearance.
Open your settings
Choose Settings in the application's navigation. On a small screen, open the navigation menu first.
Update your professional profile
- In Profile, find Practice profile and choose Edit profile.
- Select your professions. If you select several, choose your main practice, then review the approaches, specialties and other choices offered for your professions.
- Follow the steps with Continue, or Skip when an optional step allows it. Check the summary and finish with Save.
Your main practice determines the vocabulary used in your workspace. Changing professions can remove selections that no longer apply; check the summary before saving.
The updated profile is used for subsequent generations. Saving these settings does not rewrite reports that have already been produced.
Update your places of practice and report language
- In Practice context, choose Edit context.
- Under Places of practice, enter the countries where you currently use Delta professionally, and any territories requested by the form.
- Choose your Main practice language, then click Save. This is the language used for your next report generations.
Changing your practice language does not translate existing reports or change the language of the interface.
When a change to your professions or places of practice makes new legal documents applicable, Delta presents them before completing the save. Review the documents and complete any acceptance requested, then finish saving. After a successful save, you return to Settings.
If an error is displayed, follow the message or correct the indicated fields. If you leave with unsaved changes, the application asks whether you want to discard them.
Choose the interface language
In Preferences, find Language and select Français or English. The interface updates when you select the language; there is no separate Save button for this choice.
This choice changes the application's menus and labels. It does not change your practice language. For example, you can use an English interface while generating reports in French.
The country and language selector on the public website controls the public pages you visit. It does not update your account's interface language, practice language or declared places of practice.
The language chosen when reviewing legal documents is also separate from the interface and report languages.
Choose the appearance on this device
In Preferences, open Appearance and choose Light, Dark or System. The change applies immediately on this device.
System follows your device's light or dark appearance. The public website, including this help centre, stays light regardless of your application preference.
Find your other account settings
- Plan and usage shows your current offer, allowance and available subscription actions.
- Legal documents and View documents let you consult the documents applicable to your practice and their acceptance status.
- Security contains the password and two-factor authentication controls. Follow the instructions shown for the action you want to perform.
